Here are this week's auditionees who have been under the spotlight...

David, 57
David is inspired by music from The Beatles and as for his performance, there is nothing like it! 'Sexy Lady' was his audition number although he nearly forgot the lyrics to the tune! The judges found the performance weird!

Judges' verdict: OUT

David

Ashley, 20
Ashley feels that one thing that is missing in his life is singing and that way it will improve his life. He sung a soulful tune which surprised the judges especially his vocals! They believed that there was definitely some potential and was a worthy contestant in the competition!

Judges' verdict: IN

Ashley

Warren, 20
Performing arts student Warren thinks he's got the X Factor and believes he will be able to get people singing and dancing along to his songs. But doing all that did not impress the judges...except perhaps for Sharon! Simon disapproved it and told him to give up, but Warren insisted that he needed to get through. Simon however was getting bored!

Judges' verdict: OUT

Warren

Paris, 16 (actually 14)
Paris is classically trained and wants to be an opera singer when she grows up. When she performed, the judges were impressed by her performance and decided to let her through. But Paris admitted later that she cannot go through because she is 14 years of age! The judges were sorry to hear this, but Paris says she will come back in two years.

Judges' verdict: IN (but OUT because she is underage!)

Paris

Dot, 73
Dot who was well prepared with a full lunch came to the auditions to sing 'I Got You Under My Skin'. She did sing pretty well, but the judges felt that she wasn't the right person to go into this competition which Dot understood.

Judges' verdict: OUT

Dot

Raymond, 17
Raymond is inspired by music from the Rat Pack era, Frank Sinatra, James Dean among others. He performed 'Ain't That A Kick In The Head' and the judges thought it wasn't bad and a great potential. Simon warned that he must be really good to sing such type of tunes, but he's through!

Judges' verdict: IN

Raymond

George, 62
Factory worker George takes part on The X Factor, but there is only one problem, you cannot understand a single word he is saying! And it was even worse when he was singing! Simon said it would probably need subtitles!

Judges' verdict: OUT

George

4Sure
The vocal harmony group made a well known tune their own ('If You're Not The One') and impressed the judges with the harmonious vocals. And the judges called it a breath of fresh air.

Judges' verdict: IN

4Sure

Kylie, 17
Kylie believes she has a lot to show, so along with her entourage and her fan supporter, her mum, she went into the auditions with her version of 'Greatest Love Of All'. What did the judges think? No, way! But despite the disapproval, Kylie's mum was very angry with the decision and had a dispute with Simon. Simon insisted that Kylie was never going to be a pop star.

Judges' verdict: OUT

Kylie

Vicky, 24
One of the reasons that Vicky went to the auditions was to meet her biggest fan, Louis Walsh! Louis was surprised that Vicky had setup a fan club just for him! Sharon and Simon decided to leave Louis to judge on Vicky's vocals. He was impressed and decided to put her through! What a way to get through!

Judges' verdict (Louis only!): IN

Vicky

Sarah, 26
Sarah has brought all her family along to the auditions. But she has had a few unfortunate events in the past including being involved in a car accident and being stabbed twice, but this was the chance to show what she has got to show to the judges. The tune, 'From A Distance' was good and even though Louis said no, the other two believed she had a good chance.

Judges' verdict: IN

Sarah
