Q & As
Why did you want to take part in the series?
We work quite a bit for various charities and this seemed like a good idea to raise some money and public awareness.
How has the vocal training been going?
The vocal training has been fine, although there isn't enough of it! But both trainers are brilliant.
Which of the judges are you most nervous facing?
We don't get nervous, which sounds odd we know, but we don't.
Which judge would you like to be your mentor?
We really don't mind as they all seem to be really nice people.
Are you terrified about singing live?
Debbie gets a bit worried mostly because it is not our normal activity, but in general terms, we really just have fun at every job we take on.
How will you react to the judges if they give you negative comments?
If the judges give us negative comments, we’ll probably laugh, because as we keep saying... this ain't our job, so there are BOUND to be negative comments.
What past singing experience have you got?
Very very VERY little. The occasional TV show such as when we went on Celebrity Stars in their Eyes as Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.

How does taking part in this competition compare to your normal job?
We don't have a 'normal' job.
What scares you most: the thought of singing live or the judges comments?
Paul is cool, doesn't get scared. Debbie? Singing live.
Other than the vocal training have you been doing any of your own preparations?
Debbie has done quite a bit of practising around the house. Paul has been thinking about it.

Taking part and having fun is the name of the game.
