Judges
These are the authorities deciding who had The X Factor in Australia...
John Reid

John Reid has 30 years vast experience in the entertainment industry and his biggest talent find must be Reginald Dwight, better known as Elton John.  As well as managing Elton for some 28 years, John had also had the opportunity to be manager for stars as diverse as Queen, Lionel Richie, Kiki Dee, Andrew Lloyd Webber, The Jackson Five and Dame Edna Everage star, Barry Humphries.  John was born in Scotland and started life in his career working for EMI and the Tamla Motown label back in 1967.  He has brushed with big name stars like Elvis Presley and Diana Ross.  John has declined offers to judge on the UK versions of 'Popstars' and 'Pop Idol' so The X Factor is his first try at scriutinising potential stars on TV.

Singer and songwriter, Kate Ceberano is a well-established performing artist having won multiple ARIA (Australian Record Industry Association) awards.  She is the proud artist behind five platinum and four gold albums in Australia. Kate began her climb to success at age 15 when she was part of funk band, 'I'm Talking'. I'm Talking did very well scoring three top ten singles.  Kate left the group and went solo to continue her reign of success with outstanding albums like a live debut album, 'Kate Ceberano And Her Septet' in 1987 followed by the release of 'You've Always Got The Blues' in 1988.  1989 saw Kate release her third album, 'Brave' which included her best selling single of '89, 'Bedroom Eyes'.  Kate continued to remain in the spotlight with a starring role as Mary in 'Jesus Christ Superstar' across Australia amd in 1993 she had her own cabaret TV show, 'Kate Ceberano and Friends'.  Further albums emerged: 'Blue Box' in 1996 and her latest is '19 Days In New York'.
Mark Holden

Mark Holden is no stranger to singing contests in Australia as he's the host of 'Australian Idol'.  A former singer and now songwriter and music producer, Mark has been successful with his own releases including 'Never Gonna Fall In Love Again', 'I Wanna Make You My Lady' and 'Last Romance'.  Mark lived in the USA during the 1980s and in that time collaborated with performers like Belinda Carlisle and David Hasselhoff.  He also worked with The Commitments' Andrew Strong and with The Temptations and had the opportunity to work with actress, Milla Jovovich.  During the 1990s, Mark returned to Australia where he set up his own music artist management company, MarJac Productions.  He has been a co-writer on songs from artists like Delta Goodrem and Sophie Monk.
