Roberta Howett
Remember? Roberta Howett appeared on The X Factor aged 23 in the 2004 series of The X Factor. She was unfortunate to have been the first ever contestant to be evicted from The X Factor live shows. She received guidance from her mentor, Sharon Osbourne in the 16-24 category.
Life after X Factor: Roberta has become a fully fledged singer/songwriter in her own right having performed her own songs and touring live since her appearance on The X Factor. The early departure from the show certainly didn't dampen Roberta's success and chances to make it big as a musical performer. She has featured at a number of top venues in her native country of Ireland such Bar Number Five in Dublin. Shortly after The X Factor, Roberta decided to relocate to London to work with producers in upcoming projects. Roberta gained the opportunity to sing her excellent ballad, 'Shadows' on Ireland's TV3 channel and has received healthy airplay on Q102 radio in Dublin, along with sister radio stations in Cork and Limerick. Working with Brian Timoney at the Method Centre in London, Roberta was able to develop her acting skills and has recently moved back to Ireland. Her acting repertoire include: the part of Alison in Jack Osbourne's 'Don't Look Back In Anger', Girl in Hemingway's 'Hills Like White Elephants' and the part of Nina in 'Truly Madly Deeply'.
