X Factor producers have been accused of unfairly treating finalist Rhydian Roberts.
Last weekend on The Xtra Factor, it showed Rhydian arriving late at the mansion that the finalists are going to stay during the duration of the live shows. But it is claimed from his old singing teacher that the show chiefs have been plotting to make him unpopular.
Michael Barry told The Mirror newspaper: "Rhydian told me they sent him an email telling him to arrive between 11am and 12pm - and sent everyone else one that said to arrive at 10am. Then they show him being told off for arriving late. It's a nasty way to treat a talented young man."
Rhydian's mother, Angela added: "He said a few silly things, there's no doubt about it. And he's said it to us: 'One day, through my love of singing, I would love to have a knighthood.' In front of the cameras he said he'd like a knighthood like Tom Jones, but they cut out the Tom Jones bit to make him look arrogant."
