Rhydian threatened to quit X Factor?

They have been reports that X Factor finalist Rhydian Roberts was close to quitting the competition.
Rhydian was persuaded to stay after telling friends about the way he was treated by his fellow contestants. It was reported that Rhydian was complaining: "They just take the p*** out of me. They are always doing it. They are making me want to leave the show. I've had enough. I want to quit now."
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Rhydian seemed genuinely upset and was moaning that he wanted to pack it all in. He was clearly fed-up and seemed sick of tired of the whole show and the ribbing he gets constantly."
