Futureproof are out
3 November 2007, 10:01PM

Futureproof are the third act to be sent home from the competition.  This week, two of Simon Cowell's groups ended up in the bottom two alongside Hope.  The two groups had to perform once again in the Final Showdown.  Futureproof performed 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You', while Hope performed 'Hanky Panky'.  It was clear that Simon did not believe that the right decision was made for either group to be in the bottom two.

It was time for the judges to make their decision.  Louis Walsh chose Futureproof to go because he thought that their performance wasn't good enough, and so did Sharon Osbourne for similar reasons.  Dannii Minogue didn't think Hope were good enough which left Simon Cowell to make his final decision.  Simon decided to base his decision purely on the last few weeks and decided to send home his group, Futureproof.

This means there are just eight acts left in the competition for next week as follows...

Boys:
ANDY WILLIAMS
RHYDIAN ROBERTS
LEON JACKSON

Girls:
ALISHA BENNETT

25 and over:
BEVERLEY TROTMAN
NIKI EVANS

Groups:
HOPE
SAME DIFFERENCE
