Ronan has had three UK No.1s:
:: 'When You Say Nothing At All' in 1999
:: 'Life Is A Rollercoaster' in 2000
:: 'If Tomorrow Never Comes' in 2002

Cover versions that Ronan have done include:
:: 'When You Say Nothing At All' - this was originally a tune performed by Alison
Kraus, although this song was first released as a single by Ronan in July 1999 going stright in at the UK number 1 spot.
:: 'Fairy Tale Of New York' - a tune originally released by The Pogues featuring Kirsty
MacColl in 1987 reaching the UK No.2 position. Ronan's version was done with Clannad's lead singer, Maire Brennan on the 'The Way You Make Me Feel' single.
:: 'If Tomorrow Never Comes' - this was originally released by country singer and
songwriter, Garth Brooks, though never a hit in the UK until Ronan released it in May 2002
becoming a number 1!
:: 'We've Got Tonight' - originally written by Bob Seger though he did not release it
until 1995 reaching No.22 in the UK! The first act to first release the song in the charts was a duet: Kenny Rogers and Sheena Easton in 1983 reaching number 28. Elkie Brooks covered the song in 1987 but only managed to reach No.69 but Ronan's version with Lulu has done better on the UK charts than any other act reaching No.4 in November 2002!
:: 'In The Ghetto' - song originally written for Elvis Presley in 1969 reaching the UK No.2 position. Beats International also released a version in 1991 but that only reached the No.44. Ronan's release was recorded live for BBC's show 'Re:Covered' and can be found on the 'We've Got Tonight' single.
:: 'She Believes (In Me)' - a hit originally for Kenny Rogers although the original version was modified by Ronan and Paul Barry to make the song more romantic and more of a love song rather than a failed singer-songwriter as the original song was really all about. Ronan's version entered at No.2 in the UK charts in February 2004.
:: 'Let Her Down Easy' - written by Terence Trent D'Arby and recorded in 1993, this song was released as a single reaching number 28 in the UK charts. Ronan's version is on the album, 'Turn It On'.
:: 'I Hope You Dance' - a hit for Lee Ann Womack back in 2001. It was a minor hit which just entered at No. 40 on its original release, until Ronan who made this song a charity single managed it make it hit reaching No.2 in the UK charts in September 2004.
:: 'Father And Son' - everyone knows this! The song was written and originally recorded by Cat Stevens for his album, 'Tea For The Tillerman' in 1970 and was a UK top 20 album but was never released as a single by Cat. The first act to release it as a single 25 years later was the boy band that Ronan was in, Boyzone! In November 1995, the single went straight in at No.2 in the UK charts. Nine years later, Ronan released his version with the original artist, Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens) in December 2004 once again making it in at No.2 in the UK charts.
Ronan's first ever solo gig was at Nottingham Arena, Nottingham, UK on 25th November 2000.
There's at least one b-side track written by Ronan on every single he has released!
On some copies of the 'Turn It On' album in the UK, there is another song in place of the track, 'Give You What You Want'.
Update! After much research, we have found out more about this tune! The song is in fact called 'Getting Started' and was written by Ronan Keating, Rob Davis and Gregg Alexander.
The manager for Ronan is Mark Plunkett (it was with Louis Walsh but they departed from 2001).
Ronan is on the record label, Polydor Records.
