31/7/2003 - junior senior credit ronan! |
| 6:43pm BST
Thanks to Ronan, Junior Senior (pictured) have become an instant success in the charts! It all started when Ronan was on Danish TV saying how fantastic the dance tune, 'Move Your Feet' was. As a result of this, Junior Senior's tune top the charts! Junior Senior spoke about how thankful they were to Ronan: "Ronan heard our record on a TV show in Denmark and told Universal to sign us. If it wasn't for Ronan, you would have no Junior Senior in the charts today. He had a very big influence and we owe him a lot." They added that they would owe Ronan by perhaps writing a tune for him: "Maybe one day we'll write a special Junior Senior song for Ronan!" With all this, Ronan is definitely an influential figure in music today!

He got a over 1.9 million votes that awarded him the prize money of UK£70,000!!! We have featured this news story, much as it is a sideline news story, because you may recall in an earlier news story a couple of days back (19th July) when Cameron was having a late-night conversation with other BB housemates on a subject about Ronan Keating! Cameron shared his knowledge mentioning to the housemates about Ronan doing his charity walk back in May. Fair play to ya, Cameron!

12/7/2003 - ronan and keith in supposed bust-up |
| 7:02pm BST
According to tabloids, there were rumours that Ronan and ex-Boyzone member Keith Duffy (pictured) had a what was a supposed near-fight after the Irish film premiere of 'Veronica Guerin'. The two were both in an Irish nightclub having a couple of drinks. Before it got worse, actor Colin Farrell, had to break up the fight. We are unsure if this story is actually true as it has come out from tabloids.

10/7/2003 - is ro's tune ever going to be played in the BB house? |
| 7:34pm BST (Day 49)

On Big Brother (UK) this morning, housemate Ray Shah unfortunately chose the Sugababes 'Freak Like Me' tune to wake up the housemates instead of Ronan's 'Life Is A Rollercoaster' and what's worse is that it is the second time he hasn't chosen this tune! The public today chose Ronan's tune, 'Life Is A Rollercoaster' once again for Ray to choose! But he has another tune on offer as well, 'The Bad Touch' by Bloodhound Gang. Why is he not choosing Ronan's tune? Is Ray going to give Ronan's tune justice? We really hope so!!! And an interesting fact, it is exactly three years ago when Ronan's 'Life Is A Rollercoaster' was first released in the UK - so come on Ray, pay tribute to this fact!

9/7/2003 - let ro give the housemates the wake up call! |
| 6:59pm BST (Day 48)
On Big Brother (UK) this week, housemate Ray Shah (pictured) has been put in the position of Head of the House all week and has the sole responsibility to choose a tune to wake up the other housemates! The public had to choose two tunes for housemate Ray to pick from! The public decided that Ronan's 'Life Is A Rollercoaster' is one tune that should get the housemates in the groove, with the other being 'Freak Like Me' from the Sugababes. What will Ray pick? 'Life Is A Rollercoaster' has been the only tune to be in the offering all week for the Big Brother housemate. Yesterday, 'Life Is A Rollercoaster' lost out to the public chosen songs: 'Hot In Herre' by Nelly and 'Year 3000' by Busted while the day before, Ray decided to pick 'Don't Stop Movin'' by S Club 7 instead of 'Life Is A Rollercoaster'. Will the 'Rollercoaster' finally see its light of day within the walls of the UK Big Brother House?
