March 1999
Now Atomic!!!		 Still much out of the limelight, the Automatic Kittens composed of Liz McClarnon and Kerry Katona from local town, Liverpool were to see their band name change to something more easy to remember! It was Kerry who felt that the name 'Automatic Kittens' could be a mouthful and they could be mocked for a washing up powder so the wisest move was to change it but not totally - and they did. 'Atomic Kitten', the name was born and it definitely has a dynamic sound to it!!!

Lil is the only original member of Atomic Kitten in the band today.
