Lil has been named Celebrity Spectacles Wearer of the Year. Lil also disclosed that she takes a liking to men who wear a pair of spectacles.  Lil said: "I think a man looks great in glasses - it gives him real sex appeal.  It's that whole Superman thing really, and I have to admit it does it for me. It really brings the best out of a man.  You've only got to look at someone like Preston. It makes him look strong and sophisticated, I think Chris Evans started it by wearing those thick black-rimmed ones."

Lil's adoration of glasses saw her even wear a pair on her first date.  Lil recounted: "The first time I went out with my fella on a date I popped the glasses on and he absolutely loved them. He's never said anything about them but I can tell he likes them, if you know what I mean.  I even caught him trying mine on in the mirror.  I've got one for every outfit almost.  I feel a bit lost without them."

Lil received her award at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel in London, UK.  The male Celebrity Spectacles Wearer of the Year was Samuel Preston of the Ordinary Boys.

Singer, Jennifer Ellison who has had the title for the awards in the past year also showed her liking to men with glasses and mentioned about Lil: "I have to say Liz looks pretty saucy in hers [spectacles] too."
