More about the second single video shoot |

We have more details about the Kittens second single video shoot.
On Monday (13th October), Atomic Kitten shot the video for
their second single taken off from their new album of the
same name, 'Ladies Night'. This 1979 Kool & The Gang
classic video shoot will feature several drag queens,
including male pole dancers, exotic dance troupe the Dream
Boys who will be wearing pink hotpants and some of the
regular Kitten male dancers as well. The video was
shot again in the Perivale Studios, Middlesex just like
their forthcoming single, 'If You Come To Me'. The
video cost £500,000 to make. The single is due out
around Christmas, something to watch out for!!!
And don't forget that the Kittens' first single off the
next new album, 'If You Come To Me' will be out
27th October 2003!!!

Lily's not impressed |

According to the tabloid, The Sun, Lily Savage who is played
by Paul O'Grady apparently stormed off the video shoot for
Atomic Kitten's next single, 'Ladies Night'. What
happened was that instead of being the only drag queen on
the video shoot, there were instead many drag queens to
appear. This did not agree to Paul's taste and was not
happy to be among others. Someone working on the video
shoot said: "It was in the script so Paul should have known
we were using lots of drag queens. But he obviously
didn't read it. It appears he wasn't too impressed
with the fact there were others. We needed all the
drag queens to make the video really work." They also
described what the video was all about: "It's all about a
ladies night, obviously, but the gag is the ladies involved
aren't really ladies at all. Paul was the first person
we thought of to do the video and he initially agreed.
We all had a laugh when he stormed off."
The next single entitled 'Ladies Night' (the title track
of the album) is a cover of Kool & The Gang's 1979 disco
tune. It apparently cost £500,000 to shoot the video
which was done on Monday (13th October). The tune is | | | | |

Tash
recently read out a favourite tale on a local radio station.
She like many other celebrities such as Fay Ripley (who
plays in TV drama, 'Cold Feet') and Floella Benjamin are
reading their favourite stories as part of NSPCC (Children
1st in Scotland) Happy Endings Campaign which aims to raise
UK£1 million for children in desperate need. Soon
local radio stations will be playing celebrity story-telling
sessions this month. Tash described how it is to be
taking part in this campaign: "I believe every child should
grow up enjoying a safe and happy childhood. I was
read to all the time as a child. My mum used to tell
me stories that she'd made up - my favourite was about me
and my guardian angel that rescued me when I fell off a
swing in the playground."
Lil was recently offered £500,000 to go on a blind date -
that she turned down. Apparently, a businessman from
Dubai offered the money claiming his son really wanted to
meet Lil in London and thought that £500,000 was an offer
that couldn't be refused, but that he was wrong.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Lil said: "Of course it's
flattering but I was really embarrassed. There is no
way I could go out with someone for their money." The
money was apparently ready to be transferred into Lil's bank
account and also included first-class flights, a limo, and
even an expense account!
