     A reminder about the new single

The Kittens brand new double a-side single, 'The Last Goodbye'/'Be With You' is going to be released on 25th November 2002!  'The Last Goodbye' was written by the team, Stargate who also wrote the Kittens smash hit, 'It's OK!'.  In addition, the disco pop tune, 'Be With You' is a brand new song and is not even featured on the Kittens latest album, 'Feels So Good' - so you have a very good reason to get the single upon its release!!!  Mae sure you remember - 25th November 2002 is the Kittens new single release - take note!  As soon as we get more details about the single, we'll tell you here at Atomic Kitten Active, so do come back soon!

     National Music Awards 2002 - details

As you know Atomic Kitten have been nominated in the category of Favourite UK Band or Artist in this year's National Music Awards 2002.  The voting closed yesterday and those who voted Atomic Kitten, let's hope they win!  The event will be televised on ITV1 (UK) this Thursday (31st October) at 7pm.  Mae sure you don't miss it and good luck to the Kittens - we hope that enough votes have won them this award - it they do, we'll tell you here at Atomic Kitten Active - so come back soon!!!

     Poll Winners' update!

Atomic Kitten recently announced that they will be performing on the Smash Hits T4 Poll Winners' Tour 2002 at the Nottingham Arena in Nottingham, UK on 30th October 2002.  They will also be appearing at The Point, Dublin on 3rd November 2002!  Plus, the Kittens will be at the Smash Hits T4 Poll Winners' Party 2002 at London Arena, London, UK on 24th November 2002 (a day before their single release, 'The Last Goodbye'/'Be With You' out 25th November 2002)!  So with so much to come why not see them at these venues?  To book tickets for Nottingham or the Smash Hits T4 Poll Winners' Party, ring 08707 460 123 or book online at www.aloud.com.  For Dublin, ring 1890 925 100 or book online at www.ticketmaster.ie.  If you can't make it to the Party, you can watch the event live on T4 on 24th November - so you can't afford to miss out!

     Behind the wheel

Last Tuesday (22nd October), Atomic Kitten were at the British International Motorshow 2002 at the NEC in Birmingham, UK to launch their very own MG car!  Introducing their new Kitten Car, named Atomix, the Kittens had a chance to be behind the wheel of their own cars plus they even took some photoshoots of the cars!  To see the photos, check out the Official Atomic Kitten Website by clicking here!  So f you fancy a drive in one, check out a MG Car Dealer!

     Awards mania!

There are so many awards ceremonies going on that you'll probably wondering what is what!  The Kittens are in several awards ceremonies - of course, as many of you know, they recently won the Best Female Group/Artist award again at the Disney Channel Kids Awards!  The next award ceremonies are really down to you the fans because you are the ones who need to vote for the Kittens to win them - so come on read on as we'll give you a summary of the events to come!

- National Music Awards: The Kittens have been nominated for Favourite UK Band or Artist and it's down to you fans to vote for them!  Simply call 0906 680 2345 (UK; calls cost 25p/minute and will vary from mobile rates).  The lines are open now and will close on midnight of Saturday 26th October!  The event will be televised on ITV1 (UK) at a later date - so don't miss out!

- MTV Europe Music Awards 2002: The Kittens have been nominated for Best UK & Ireland Act and again fans - it's down to you!  The event will take place in Barcelona on 14th November 2002!  To vote, simply visit the Official MTV Website by clicking here!  You'll also have to vote for the other categories - but make sure Atomic Kitten is the one vote you cast!

Just a reminder that the Kittens double A-side single, 'The Last Goodbye'/'Be With You' is to be released on 25th November 2002!  Don't forget that the song, 'Be With You' is a brand new tune from the Kittens and does not appear anywhere else apart from this single!  So make sure you keep note of the date of this single - remember, it's 25th November 2002!  We'll keep you updated on this release so come back very soon!

     The Last Goodbye is the next Kitten single!

It has just been announced that the Kittens brand new single will be the double A-side, 'The Last Goodbye'/'Be With You'!  The single is to be released on 25th November 2002!  'The Last Goodbye' featured on the Kittens number 1 album, 'Feels So Good' is written by Stargate who also wrote the number 3 smash hit, 'It's OK!'.  'Be With You' is a brand new song and is an uptempo dance tune!  Please note fans that the song, 'Be With You' is only available on the single!  The Kittens are currently shooting the videos for both of the tunes, so get ready for twice the excitement!  We'll keep you up to date on this release so come back soon!!!

     Kittens win a Disney Channel Kids Award!

We would like to congratulate Atomic Kitten who have won the Best Female Group/Artist award at the Disney Channel Kids Award which took place last Saturday (12th October 2002) at London Arena, London, UK.  They managed to beat off competition from the Sugababes, Samantha Mumba, Mis-Teeq and Kylie Minogue!  So that's another good start of awards for Atomic Kitten who won an award last year in the same category!  The full winners list is shown below:

We, at Atomic Kitten Active, would like to give our welcomes to Tash who has now returned from maternity leave to join the other Kittens, Lil and Jen (ahh, now they are Whole Again!).  The Kittens together as a whole will now be moving on to promote new releases of singles!  In fact, they'll be off to shoot two videos for two forthcoming singles!  We have no details of what the next single may be but as soon as all is announced, we'll tell you at Atomic Kitten Active, so do come back very soon!

     At a charity ball

Atomic Kitten performed at the Marie Keating Foundation Ball, in memory of Ronan Keating's mother last Wednesday (9th October 2002).  Lil and Jen were performing but Tash due to maternity leave was unable to perform but was there at the event.

The event included many other celebrities including Lulu, Brian Kennedy, Jim Corr and Westlife's Shane Filan.  This event started International Breast Awareness month.  The money raised for the event will go to the maintenance of the mobile units which go up and down Ireland to promote Cancer awareness.

     Kittens to perform at Disney Channel Kids Awards!

The Kittens have announced that they will performing at the Disney Channel Kids Awards this Saturday (12th October 2002) at London Arena, London, UK.  They will be performing along with other acts including Gareth Gates, Blue, a1, Holly Valance, Liberty X and S Club Juniors.   This will be the first live performance since Tash went on maternity leave to give birth to her baby son, Josh.  In addition, the Kittens have been nominated for Best Female Group/Artist and they are against the likes of Kylie Minogue, Mis-Teeq, Samantha Mumba and the Sugababes.  We give our best of luck to the Kittens and hope they win this award!  For more information about the awards, check the official website by clicking here.  Also check out the updated Tour & Appearances page for where the Kittens will be!

They've done it again!  Atomic Kitten's brand new video and DVD, 'Right Here Right Now Live' has shot straight into number 1 in the both the video and DVD UK charts!  We would like to congratulate the Kittens for the third time in a row!  A number 1 single, 'The Tide Is High (Get The Feeling)', a number 1 album, 'Feels So Good', and a number 1 video and DVD, whatever next?!!  Keep up the support Kitten fans out there!!!  If you haven't got a copy of this brilliant release - make sure you get it cos it's out now!!!
