Jen talks of bad modelling experience

Jen spoke recently about bad memories as a teenager when pursuing a career in modelling espeically when visiting Tokyo, Japan.  She said: "I'd heard there was proper money to be made in Tokyo. If I'm honest, I naively saw it as a big adventure.  I now can say that those three years gave me the tenacity to cope with whatever the music industry had to throw at me.  Working in Japan was ruthless and lonely. It wasn't the b**ching from other models, it was my agency's and employer's attitude.  I must have been a size six (American size two) then, and I remember going into castings where they'd screech, 'Too big!'"

Kerry suffering panic attacks

Kerry McFadden has been having a tough time recently especially when Bryan announced his split.  Kerry's mum, Sue spoke about how Kerry is doing everything to save the relationship: "It's killing Kerry. She's not eating because she's so stressed and she's been having panic attacks.  Kerry is devastated. She was hysterical and has been sobbing her heart out.  Brian hasn't given her a reason so she's saying, 'Maybe he doesn't fancy me. Maybe it's because I'm fat. Is it because my body's changed?'"

Lil and Tash in Hammersmith

Lil and Tash both performed at the Hammersmith Palais with the James Taylor Quartet, although they performed separately. This was part of the 'For One Night Only' shows. Lil performed the tracks, 'Always Be My Baby', 'Kisses' and Carole King classic: 'I Feel The Earth Move'. Check the Official Atomic Kitten Website for pics of this event!

Lil launches Wirral The Squirrel

Tash was at Harrods in London, UK on 1st October 2004 and did the catwalk to promote charity fashion, in aid for Barnardos. She even brought little Josh to see the event!

Kitten reform rumours untrue

The Official Atomic Kitten Website has made it clear that despite reports that the Kittens are going to reform is untrue. Tash is expecting a child in January and as a result it is unlikely we will hear anything from the Kittens until at least 2006. Lil and Jen are currently recording material for their solo albums. Lil and Jen are assuring the fans that it will be the best tunes when they release their first single. Keep it here at Atomic Kitten Active for further news!

Bedingfield loves Lil's hair!

Jen spoke about Daniel Bedingfield's strange obsession of hanging around Lil because of her hair!  Jen said: "He's just a bit strange. I think he fancies Liz and whenever we see him, he goes on and on about her hair.  I think he's got a bit of a hair fetish. He strokes her hair, and she'll be like a rabbit caught in the headlights.  We keep thinking we'll find him in our dressing room, pulling hair out of her hairbrush. Possibly to try and clone her. Who knows? He's a clever boy, it could be happening."

Jen judges taches!

Jen was one of the judging panel for GQ Magazine. She had to decide which of a selection of men had the best moustache! This event was in aid of charity Everyman which raise awareness and fund vital research for prostate and testicular cancer in men. The campaign called tacheback encouraged men to grow their 'taches sponsored by their friends and families! Lil's Road-rage experience

Lil was involved in a terrifying road-rage incident in London, UK.  Apparently when Lil and her friend left from the 'Bride And Prejudice' premiere, a mad driver swerved the streets and for one moment seemed to want to run their car to one side.  A friend spoke: "Liz's friend is a really safe driver and was worried about this other car straight away.  He was all over the road and driving right up to their bumper. Then suddenly he swerved into them as if he was trying to run them off the road.  Understandably they were terrified. They were in a part of London they didn't know and this madman was driving at their car. It was very frightening for both of them."  Lil's spokesman said: "They were shaken, but ok."

UNICEF United

Football club, Manchester United fully support UNICEF and raised over £100,000 for the charity. As part of an event, Lil attended and entertained the guests in the evening.

Kerry and Brian split-up

Kerry and Brian McFadden have split according to reports.   It was due to Brian's busy schedule as he pursues a solo career and as result has no time to see Kerry or his children.  A friend spoke to The Sun newspaper: "When Brian left Westlife Kerry thought she would see more of him. But it has not worked out like that."  A spokesperson said: "I've been talking to Kerry daily and she is extremely upset. I have also seen Brian who is devastated.  It has happened because they have been kept apart from each other.  The marriage was under pressure because of Brian's hectic touring schedule. He has been busy promoting his first solo single, 'Real To Me'."

Jen hosts event!

Last Saturday (18th September) Jen was a co-presenter for a massive show in Wembley Arena, UK. The event was organised by the French and British embassies to celebrate 100 years of Entente Cordiale (the friendly relationship between the British and the French). Acts from France and the UK performed. The show was broadcasted to a live crowd of 10,000 in Paris, France.
