Kittens score no.3 position with 'It's OK!'!!! |

We'd like to congratulate Atomic Kitten for reaching a top
chart position of No.3 for their absolutely fantastic
brand new single, 'It's OK!'!!! The single which
came out last Monday (20th May 2002) is the first single
from the Kittens' forthcoming brand new album expected at
the end of the year. They've done brilliantly
beating off tough competition from Westlife whose single
'Bop Bop Baby' came out the same day as 'It's OK!', and
other new singles of the week including Ms. Dynamite and
Ian Van Dahl. Speaking to DJ, Dr. Fox on the The
Pepsi Chart this evening, Tash said "I'm now feeling
better that it's ['It's OK!'] got in at No.3...It's the
first single off the new album...we were a bit worried,
'Are people going to like it?' ...The feedback we've had,
brilliant and to get No.3 is even better." Dr. Fox
spoke of 'Whole Again' and its No.1 success with Tash
responding that despite having not topped the charts with
'It's OK!', nevertheless they were releasing brilliant
material: "We're never gonna live up to 'Whole Again'.
That was just a classic, but we tried to release some good
songs...'Eternal Flame' which did very well, got No.1 and
now this song ['It's OK!'] got No.3...we were only
expecting to get like into the Top 5, if we were lucky,
that's what we were praying for, and when we heard it got
No.3, we were so over the moon. It's wicked news."
Tash thanked all the fans: "A big thank you to everyone
who's bought the single and thanks for all your support."

Atomic Kitten got Meg, the pet dog on the programme,
'Blue Peter' on BBC1 (UK) all excited. They
appeared on the show on Wednesday (15th May 2002)
performing their forthcoming brand new single, 'It's
OK!' while Meg ran around the Kittens with
excitement.
And remember!!!

The Palace' on the 3rd June 2002 which
will feature Atomic Kitten.
They'll be on stage with Phil Collins
(pictured left) to specially perform.
There'll also be a multitude of other
big name artists at the event that
include: Will Young (pictured right),
Blue, The Corrs (pictured above left), Rod
Stewart, Mis-Teeq, Paul McCartney,
Aretha Franklin and Elton John, but to
name just a few.
