     Partying Kittens this summer

The biggest London outdoor pop concert, 'Party In The Park' for 2001 will see Atomic Kitten make an appearance.  The big event hosted by London's Capital 95.8FM for the Prince's Trust will feature a whole array of world class music artists including: Ronan Keating (pictured above right), Ricky Martin, Emma Bunton (aka 'Baby Spice', pictured above left), Tom Jones and Wheatus plus much, much more!  Tickets sold out in no time at all due to the huge popularity of this event.  You can still win tickets!  Find out more about the event and about Atomic Kitten's appearance at the official 'Party In The Park 2001' website by clicking here.

     Doctor's order to rest for month  
25/5/2001, 6:00pm BST
All three Kittens have been struck by a range of illnesses and have been orderd by doctors to take rest from performance for up to a month.  As reported by The Sun newspaper, Tash has throat nodules, Lil is suffering a chest condition and an ear infection and Jen has a bronchial condition.  A spokesperson stated: "Atomic Kitten have been ordered to take one month's complete break.  The girls are consulting the leading doctors in these fields.  If there is something that is crucial and we have a backing track to mime to, then we may bend the rules.  We apologise if this causes disappointment to fans but it's essential to get the girls back in good health."

     Mardi Gras will see Kittens perform

Atomic Kitten will perform at the Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras this year.  They will join other pop acts: Steps (pictured left), Hear'say and Five.  From the Indie scene acts include EMF and Bentley Rhythm Ace.  The event happens at Finsbury Park, London on 30th June.

     Tash gets engaged to Fran

It was announced that Tash has got engaged to security guard, Fran Cosgrave.  Cosgrave works as a security guard for the hit pop group, Westlife.  Both Tash and Fran met at a gig a few months back.  Fran proposed just two weeks ago.
