Kittens come under attack by Toploader |
|
 |
9/3/2001, 6:00pm GMT
The band, Toploader have attacked the Kittens on
their 'Whole Again' single which enjoyed four
weeks at the UK No.1 singles chart position.
According to Dan Hipgrave, guitarist for Toploader:
"Atomic Kitten getting to number one is a
joke because U2 are seriously good with lots of
talent. I think a big part of the reason they got
to number one is because one of them is going out
with one of Westlife!", when speaking to
Smash Hits magazine in their latest issue.
The Kittens fought back. In response to an
attack by lead Joe Washbourn, Jen advised
"[Joe Washbourn should] shut up and buy some
Frizz Ease, instead!" Tash said
"The fact we stayed at number one for four
weeks says that the song is a good one, 'cos
people heard it and wanted to go and buy it." |
