     Lil gets close with Lee
15/1/2002, 7:00am GMT
It has been revealed that Lil has got close with Lee Ryan (pictured), one of the members of the new all-male pop group, Blue.  The two met and got to know each other more while they were stranded in the USA following the tragic events on September 11th last year.  They publicly for the first time snogged at the wedding of Bryan McFadden and Kerry Katona on 5th January of this year.  Lil described how she and Lee got to know each other: "We were both working in New York on September 11th and were stuck together for two weeks after the tragedy there.  We became friends but nothing happened.  Lee and I got together after the New Year, but were in constant touch on the phone over Christmas.  I remember one night we were chatting for four hours.  I knew then we would get together.  We just clicked and that was it".  Lee described of their relationship as being special: "We haven't been dating for long, but we're closer than people think."  Romances are blossoming all round - Kerry got married to Bryan and Jen's got engaged to fiancé, Dom T. Dom.

     A perfect couple!
10/1/2002, 5:00am GMT
Only recently did the star couple, Bryan McFadden and Kerry Katona marry and speaking to OK! magazine recently, they expressed their true happiness being together along with their daughter, Molly who was born in September of last year.  Bryan said of the birth: "It was a beautiful moment.  I feel like the luckiest guy in the world.  I am thrilled and still can't believe this has really happened" and he also described of the impact that this had on his own career with one of the biggest all-male groups around, Westlife: "I had a lot of money but I wasn't spending it on important things.  Now I can spend it on Molly."  Kerry spoke of the deep devotion she has for her new daughter: "I want to give our baby the security I never had as a child.  We're going to spoil Molly rotten and I am not ashamed to say that.  She's the best thing that has ever happened to myself or Bryan - better than any hit record!"  We hope that Bryan and Kerry will have a wonderful life together and all the best wishes to them for the future.  We know they're the perfect couple!

Kittens to get into football anthem
8/1/2002, 6:00am GMT
The song 'On Me Head Son' written by comedian, Keith Allen may become the official World Cup anthem for the England football squad.  The song is being considered by the Football Association in England.  It would feature contributions from Atomic Kitten and from football star, David Beckham (pictured right).  'On Me Head Son' featured in the big hit movie, 'Mike Bassett: England Manager' which first screened in cinemas in September of last year and starred the comedy actor, Ricky Tomlinson (pictured left) as Mike Bassett following his control over the England team and hoping to take them to World Cup glory.  Lil and Jen made a cameo appearance in the movie and perform 'On Me Head Son' with music artist, Fat Les.  According to Steve Baron, director of the movie, the song could be modelled onto the real World Cup: "It is a case of life imitating art. The song is perfect for the real World Cup".  Keith Allen is no stranger to football anthems.  His own written song which he performed called 'Vindaloo' was anthem for the England team in the France World Cup back in 1998.  The song lyrics include mention of the England manager, Sven Goran Eriksson (pictured centre) and additional vocals would be provided by the players of the England squad.

     Not to be spotted!
4/1/2002, 7:00pm GMT
The offer to promote a spot cream in an advertising campaign has been turned down by Atomic Kitten.  It was revealed that a major pharmaceutical company in the US had offered the Kittens $420,000 (UK£320,000) to do the job but the Kittens felt that it was not quite the right sort of thing to be promoting.  Tash said: "We weren't upset at being asked, we all thought, 'What a cheek, we don't really have spots!'  Still, after a bit of thought I reckoned it would've been a laugh to do it.  We could have done fake spot squeezing into a mirror and fun stuff like that".  Jen said: "The money was good, but no amount of money could change my mind - we don't do spots!"
